Abstract In hydraulic equipment, tip clearance may result in a leakage vortex known as (TLV), which reduces the machinery’s energy efficiency. order to lessen damage brought on by clearance, this research sets angle, location, spacing, and depth of grooves significant criteria. The orthogonal approach is used design hydrofoil’s grooves. Numerous simulations are carried out using SST k-turbulence model wideband noise source model. results demonstrate how closely numerical simulation matches what was seen experiments. that successful method for lowering TLV when compared original hydrofoil. area hydrofoil reduced 4.15% under M5 groove significantly alters dipole distribution leading edge comparison hydrofoil, resulting decibel level at region. average Curle APL M8 decreased 1.78 1.65%, respectively. Due way blocks muffles it generates, optimum operational condition.
